The game is considered a reboot of the eponymous 1997 JRPG, which became a hit of its time and is today rightfully regarded as a legend in the role-playing genre. It set a high bar for the gaming industry for many years ahead and was one of those that brought popularity to the Playstation platform. 

You will be invited to look anew at the expanded and reworked story, familiar to many from childhood, which tells of confrontations between secret organizations. The creators at Square Enix promise to release the game sequentially in separate parts, each of which will include a shared storyline and, in terms of scope, will more closely resemble a standalone game.
